State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) has chosen Guy Carpenter (GC) as its strategic advisor. The agreement was signed at a ceremony held at GC’s office in Dubai on June 3, 2024. The ceremony was attended by SLIC CEO Shoaib Javed Hussain, Khaldoon Hemsi (Managing Director of Guy Carpenter), and John Thorpe (Senior Vice President of Guy Carpenter), along with other senior officials from both organizations.
This collaboration combines GC’s expertise in broking, strategic advisory services, and industry-leading analytics with SLIC’s top-notch insurance solutions. As a result, SLIC will be in a better position to provide enhanced financial protection and explore innovative risk solutions to expand its presence in the Gulf region.
During the event, SLIC CEO Shoaib Javed Hussain expressed, “Our partnership with GC showcases our commitment to customer-centricity and growth. By leveraging their expertise, we are confident in our ability to expand our reach and better cater to the insurance needs of Pakistanis in this region and beyond.”
