Salaam Takaful Signed an MoU with Pakistan Insurance Institute

The Pakistan Insurance Institute has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Salaam Takaful Limited (STL), representing a pivotal advancement towards a cooperative future within the Takaful sector. The MOU was signed and exchanged by Rizwan Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of Salaam Takaful, and Khalid Hamid, Chairman of the PII Council. The ceremony was also attended by Mufti Sajjad Ashraf Usmani, Shariah Advisor, along with Wajahat Khawaja, Mr. Shahzad Lodhi, CEO, and Ather Rahat Siddiqui ACII, CPCU, Executive Director of PII.

    This strategic alliance signifies a crucial achievement for both Salaam Takaful and PII. The objective of this MOU is to formalize the partnership between Salaam Takaful Limited and the Pakistan Insurance Institute (PII) to effectively implement and certify the Foundation Course, while jointly creating opportunities for the ongoing professional development of sales agents within the insurance sector. PII, Salaam Takaful Limited, and Salaam Family Takaful Limited will collaborate to design and deliver Shariah-compliant training programs related to Takaful, Family Takaful, and ReTakaful, utilizing the Shariah expertise provided by the Shariah Advisor and Shariah Board at Salaam Takaful Limited and Salaam Family Takaful Limited.
