Muhammad Hisham, the Chief Operating Officer at IGI General Insurance, is a Chartered Insurer with over twenty-three years of extensive experience in Management, Sales, and Operations at the 4th largest General Insurance company in Pakistan. Throughout his career, he has excelled in roles such as Underwriting, Claims, and Sales, overseeing the largest portfolio of the company for more than 13 years and leading a team of over 150 individuals. He played a pivotal role in introducing Travel Insurance and Agri/Livestock Insurance products within the company. Driven by a passion for technology, he laid the groundwork for IGI Drive (Tracking and Telematics division) and currently oversees its business operations. Muhammad Hisham has been instrumental in implementing various technology-driven business transformation initiatives at IGI. He has established strong partnerships with local and international brokers and Reinsurers on multinational accounts, gaining valuable insights into the international market dynamics. Muhammad Hisham holds a Masters in Business Administration and an M.Phil. in Marketing, focusing on Service Quality and Customer Satisfaction in Insurance. He is a Chartered Insurer, holding the title of an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Additionally, he has completed numerous professional development courses in Switzerland, India, Germany, and the UAE. With a history of leadership roles in the industry, Muhammad Hisham has served as the Chairman of the Lahore Institute for 3 years and Chairman of the Insurance Association of Pakistan North Chapter for 3 years. He successfully organized and managed 5 conferences on various insurance-related topics through the IAP and LII platforms.
