Dr. Syed Arif Hussain is a highly motivated individual who currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Alpha Insurance Company Limited. With expertise in management, resource development, marketing, and business strategy execution, he has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the company.
Dr. Hussain’s professional experience spans over 25 years, during which he has held progressive senior-level positions in various organizations. He has gained extensive knowledge in underwriting, reinsurance, claims management, and marketing through his tenure at State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, Dawood Family Takaful Limited, East West Insurance Company Limited, and Takaful Pakistan Limited. Additionally, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Excel Insurance Company Limited and Head of Takaful at East West Insurance Company Limited.
His expertise extends to Life, Health, and project-related Insurance/Takaful schemes. Dr. Hussain has also played a significant role in restructuring insurance operations and implementing automation. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Furthermore, he has actively participated in numerous local and international workshops and conferences focused on Insurance/Takaful and management.Now Dr. Arif hold position of CEO in Alpha Insurance Company Limited, a subsidiary of State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, was established in 1951 with the objective of underwriting all classes of general insurance businesses. The company’s financial stability is evident from its balance sheet, which reflects a substantial paid-up capital of Rs. 500 million and equity of 718 million. It has also been awarded an IFS rating of “A+” by JCR-VIS.
