Salaam Family Takaful Limited, the first-ever digital-only Islamic life insurance provider, is dedicated to supporting the growth and progress of the insurance industry. By teaming up with Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC), Salaam Family Takaful Limited aims to utilize CDC’s advanced technological platform and extensive experience in similar projects. CDC’s Centralized Information Sharing Solution for the Insurance Industry (CISSII) and Centralized Insurance Repository (CIR) are crucial systems that enable the sharing of vital policy-related information among stakeholders. These initiatives, launched in 2014 and 2020 respectively, have established the groundwork for formal information-sharing mechanisms and have standardized the industry’s data-sharing practices.
